Africa Sustaining Angels held a ‘Wrap Your Heart’ fashion show featuring jumpsuits by designer Shannon Ashford, of LA TomFoolery. Models included members of Africa Sustaining Angels as well as other VIPs including Mary, Robin Ward, Jackie Holcomb, Robin Ward, Tanya Payne, Tracey Marshal, and Mary Muiruri herself.   Austin Magazine Melinda Garvey emceed the event.  After lunch and the runway show, Joel Holcomb, the President of HRSTrueHope, interviewed Mary about the education of the Shelter children.   She related how school staff educate elementary and post-elementary age children on-site at the Shelter. High school and college students board at the various schools around the country.  Based on the academic results achieved over the last few years, the Shelter now has a class of 23 students eligible for college. Costs to educate these students include board, transportation, supplies, PCs, and other living expenditures.
